Update on Local Transport Plan 2
Work is coming to a close on the preparation of the latest County Local Transport Plan (LTP2). Air Quality
has featured heavily and is one of the 4 key sections. This is a big improvement over the last LTP which
did not have such a demanding statutory requirement for air quality. BAQMG are working closely with
Transport Planners to ensure that information and taregt areas are correct. In addition, closer links
between improving air quality and the reduction of congestion have been made.
